Apply for 30 hours childcare for your 3 or 4-year old

What is 30 hours childcare?

30 hours childcare is available to working parents. It's the extended part of the funded childcare offer for 3 and 4-year-olds.

So whereas all 3 or 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours (the universal part), 30 hours extends this by giving working parents an extra 15 hours per week.

Both schemes end just before your child starts in reception class or reaches compulsory school age.

If you already know you’re eligible for 30 hours, find childcare providers in Buckinghamshire accepting it.
