HAF Annual Report 2024/25

During the summer 2024 delivery period, the HAF programme worked closely with Aylesbury Town Council to fund food vouchers. These were available for eligible families accessing their ‘Live in the Park’ event over the August bank holiday weekend. Families could also engage with the free-to-access activities available on site. These vouchers were well received, with over 100 food vouchers redeemed on the day.

Christmas 2024 also saw the return of the two one-day family pantomime and meal events. These were open to all eligible children and young people and their parents/carers. These events, held at Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Chesham comprised family tickets to the pantomime at all three theatres:

• Aylesbury Waterside
• Wycombe Swan
• Chesham Elgiva

Families also received a Christmas family meal and entertainment. The three events were very well attended:

• Aylesbury Waterside - 96%
• Wycombe Swan - 87%
• Chesham Elgiva - 73%

Christmas 2024 also saw the introduction of family events that occurred at:

• Whipsnade Zoo
• Tring Museum
• Hughenden Manor.

All three events were fully booked and well attended (87% across all three). Because of their popularity, the Early Years HAF Team will be exploring further opportunities for collaboration in 2025/26.
