HAF Annual Report 2024/25

Plans for 2025/26
Throughout 2025/26, we aim to continue the growth of the HAF programme. Making use of additional funds to offer a higher number of places per holiday period. Continue building the variation in HAF’s offer by increasing the number of providers delivering. Increasing the total number of children and young people benefiting from the offer and growing the programme's reach locally.
We will work with Holiday Activities, our centralised booking system provider, to continue the improvement of HAF’s booking system. We want to make it more user-friendly for both parents and providers. Creating an even playing field and reducing the administrative expectations on our schools locally with regards to the voucher order process.
Ofsted registration will also continue to be a focus, with several organisations and venues in the process of becoming Ofsted registered. This will open opportunities to:
- Become part of Buckinghamshire’s Wraparound and Breakfast Club agendas
- Enabling providers to make use of Tax-free childcare credits
- Encouraging sustainable practice
Throughout 2024/25, 15 providers were Ofsted registered across 40 venues. With work currently ongoing to support providers to increase this number for delivery in 2025/26
