Help for vulnerable people in the community

Vulnerable people and their carers, or people who find themselves in challenging situations can get help at Safe Places when out in communities in Buckinghamshire.

The Safe Place scheme runs in many local towns. A Safe Place provides help and assistance when needed and can be identified by a Safe Place sticker on the window or door.

If a vulnerable person seeks help, a staff member of the Safe Place will help by making a phone call to someone the vulnerable person trusts or to one of the numbers on an emergency contact list provided to the premises.

Staff at a Safe Place will also reassure and keep the vulnerable person safe until the situation was resolved.
