Yes, our programmes are run by the charity The Centre for Emotional Health and are based on proven techniques.
Their work is underpinned by the Nurturing Programme which was developed by American child psychologist Dr Stephen J. Bavolek based on his research into family interactions.
Dr Stephen J. Bavolek identified four destructive parental behaviour patterns which became the four building blocks of the programmes. These are:
- Self-awareness
- Appropriate expectations
- Empathy
- Positive discipline
Our programmes have resources that can be downloaded from The Centre for Emotional Health website.
