Take up 15 hours childcare for your 3 or 4-year old

How to take up 15 hours childcare

Step 1

Find childcare providers in Buckinghamshire accepting 15 hours childcare

Tip: you may want to add a few providers to a shortlist to help you decide which is best for your child and which has spaces. You are not guaranteed a place at any one provider.

Step 2

Once you have chosen a provider, agree on the hours your child will attend. The provider will ask you to complete a Parent Provider Agreement and provide proof of your child's date of birth.

It is important to fill out the Parent Provider Agreement because it records your child’s eligibility for a funded place. It also sets out the days and hours you have agreed your child will be attending. This also includes if you are using another provider. Sessions offered by a provider must be between 2.5 hours and 10 hours per day between 6 am and 8 pm.

Your child can then take their place any time from the term after their third birthday.
