Apply for funded childcare for your 2-year-old

15 hours of funded childcare per week, based on a 38-week term-time offer, is available for 2-year-olds if you claim some benefits.

You don’t have to use all of the 15 hours, you can take up as many as you like.

You can use this childcare at participating childminders, day nurseries, pre-schools and nursery schools (including those joined to a school).

If you're eligible, you can take up this offer from the term after your child's second birthday.
