With pancake day just around the corner, we thought we would share some pancake recipes for you to try at home, as well as some top tips when making them. Pancakes can be so easy to make and can be great fun for the whole family.

Tips for cooking the perfect pancakes

Although pancakes can be very simple to make, there are some extra steps you can take to make them even better. We have listed some below for you:

  • Don't over mix your batter. Let it rest once the ingredients are combined
  • Use room temperature eggs
  • Cook on a low to medium heat. Don't have your pan too hot
  • Don't flip your pancakes too early. Wait until there are bubbles forming and popping before you attempt a flip
  • Use a non-stick pan
