Things to do for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
There are lots of places in Buckinghamshire where you can go and take part in different activities.
There are various schemes and charities which can help you to get discounts if your child has an additional or special need.

Sensory based activities can really help children and young people to develop their fine motor skills whilst being creative. There are lots of activities you can try such as:
- sensory food play - discovering the different textures and patterns of foods
- multi-medium arts and crafts - using different materials when doing arts and crafts
- music station - you can try creating your own musical instruments using different objects around the house

Reading together can be a fun way to help improve your child's knowledge of different words and letters.
BBC Bitesize have some great tips to help support your child's reading.
Some libraries have reading sessions, or you can just go along to choose new books together. Joining the library is free if you live, study or work in Buckinghamshire.
