Stronger with Support – Young Carers Matter Campaign
Did you know that at least one child in every classroom in England provides unpaid care for a parent, sibling, family member or friend.
Many young carers are hidden from view, and too often they miss out on the same opportunities as their peers.
They deserve support, recognition, and a fair future.
Join us this March
This March, we're celebrating young carers across Buckinghamshire and reminding them they don’t have to cope alone.
Monday 9 to Friday 13 March 2026: A week‑long exhibition of artwork created by young carers, sharing personal stories about what caring means to them.
- Location: The Space, Friars Square, Aylesbury, HP20 2QF (opposite New York Deli)
- Time: 9am to 6pm
Wednesday 11 March 2026 - Young Carers Action Day: Join us as we celebrate the vital contribution of young carers and commit to creating Fair Futures for All.
- Location: Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing Hub, Buckinghamshire New University, 59 Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP21 7QG
- Time: 2pm to 3:30pm
How you can help
If you know a young person who may be caring for someone, please encourage them to reach out. Recognising a young carer is the first step to helping them thrive.
