Family Learning
Free courses and workshops from Bucks Adult Learning to support parents with helping their child's education and development from 18 months to 14 years. Learning through play and giving confidence in helping with school subjects and well-being.

Free parenting programmes and resources
The Family Centres parenting programmes will help you develop new and existing parenting skills, offer advice and build your confidence as parents of children from toddlers to teens.
Parents as First Teachers (PAFT)
Parents as First Teachers is a voluntary programme is free to all parents and carers of babies and preschool children (0 to 5 years), and is designed to enhance child development and school achievement.
Your involvement can begin as soon as you know you are pregnant. There are home visits available for some families and monthly group meetings available for all families.
If you are looking for work, but cannot find the right opportunity then consider employment with supported training via an Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships via local employers or training providers include:
- schools
- nurseries
- office
- accounting
- health care sector
Vocational qualification opportunities are through blended or distance learning such as:
- bookkeeping
- accountancy
- early years
- health and social care
