Independent travel training
Independent Travel Training is delivered by some Buckinghamshire schools and colleges. This training supports students as they prepare for adulthood.
Travel training helps young people with SEND become more independent and use public transport alone. This may include transport to and from school or college.

Parents, carers, and young people with SEND should check with their education provider to see if they offer the training.
Talkback Travel Training
Independent travel training is also available from Talkback as part of its personal development and skills programme.
Talkback also support their travel training with a booklet, a comic and 7 engaging videos. Their comprehensive workbook guides learners through key aspects of travel training.
