Short breaks service statement

We will keep our short breaks offer under review. This is to ensure it is meeting needs and achieving the right outcomes for children and their families. This includes:

• regular monitoring and review of all short breaks services commissioned by the council and Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB)
• engagement with disabled children, young people, their families and professionals working with disabled children to hear their views and experiences of short breaks
• work with our parent and carer forum FACT Bucks
• work with our FACT Bucks short breaks parent advisory group (PAG)
• regular review of the local short breaks offer and eligibility criteria
