Support for children involved in or at risk of crime

We provide interventions to help children and young people make better decisions and avoid involvement in offending and criminal behaviour.

Buckinghamshire Youth Justice and Support Team supports:

• children
• families
• victims
• communities affected by crime

We work with our partners to identify children who may benefit from support to prevent an offence from taking place.

We support children who have been involved in a crime to achieve their potential and prevent further offending.

We are a team of professionals with a wide range of skills and experience. All our staff have a passion for supporting children to succeed. We also receive support from our partner agencies. These include:

• education (a dedicated teacher)
• health (a dedicated nurse, mental health practitioner and speech and language therapist)
• police (dedicated Police Officers)
• social worker’s
• substance misuse support
