Short breaks

Activity fees for short breaks funded by the council

You need to pay activity fees for targeted and specialist short breaks funded by the council.

These fees help providers to offer a wider range of short breaks, and cover some equipment costs.

You can get reduced activity fees if you on means tested benefits or have an equivalent low income.

If you qualify for a personal budget or direct payments, you can use these to buy your own short breaks. This gives you more flexibility and choice.
