Preparing for Adulthood Transition Guide
Videos from local young people
These five powerful videos were co-produced and star local young people who are neurodivergent, including those with a learning disability or autism. They focus on the key challenges of moving from childhood into adulthood.
The short films cover five fundamental themes. Each video is between 8 to 12 minutes long.
Funding for the films was provided by the NHS through the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board to engage with young adults aged 14 to 25 years.
The Reading charity, Starting Point and Realtime Film Company, co-produced the films with over 20 young people. These young managed the storyboarding, filming and editing process.
