Post-16 education and training

There are different options available, you can choose between:

• staying in full-time education at a sixth form or a further education college
• combining work with part-time study or training, such as an apprenticeship

You might be able to get help with education or training costs.

The 16 to 19 bursary fund can help with things like books, travel and equipment.

You might also get:

• help with the cost of transport to sixth form or college
• help with childcare costs whilst you study

If you have special educational needs or disability (SEND) there may be different, more suitable options for you.
