Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

There are ten Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are monitored nationally by the Youth Justice Board.

The following charts show Buckinghamshire YJST performance over three quarters of 2025/26, compared with other areas.

Management board attendance

The number of statutory sectors represented by a Senior Partner attending the Management Board.

For all three quarters, Buckinghamshire achieved 100% attendance from Senior Partners representing all statutory sectors on the Management Board. This performance was consistent throughout the year and was in line with comparators.

Areas for improvement

Performance is strong for a number of these indicators, with the YJST focusing on continual improvement where data shows there are challenges in meeting the measure fully.

Once quarter four comparative data is available from the YJB, targets will be set for each of these measures, recognising 2025-26 as the baseline year and identifying clear improvement targets.
